What to expect

You'll speak with a Care Manager, and at a pace that suits you. The call is about finding out if our homes and support style fit what you're looking for. You choose the suburb, the setup, and the level of support. We'll show you what's available, answer your questions honestly, and give you a written summary of the call so you have something to refer back to. There's no pressure to decide anything on the day.

Before you book

What happens on a fit call?

A 15-minute phone call with one of our Care Managers. We’ll ask about who you are and what kind of SIL setup might suit. We’ll answer your questions, send you a follow-up email with what we discussed, and tell you honestly if we’re not the right fit.

What if I'm not funded yet?

Still book the call. We’ll talk through what SIL funding looks like in your plan, and what to ask your Support Coordinator or planner. We don’t charge for the call and there’s no obligation to choose Hilda Care.

Do you cover my suburb?

We’re based in Burnside Heights and operate across Melbourne’s west and north-west. Tell us your postcode when you book and we’ll confirm whether we have homes or capacity in your area before the call.

What if Hilda Care isn't the right fit?


We’ll say so clearly — on the call or in the follow-up email. If another provider is better suited to your needs, we’ll point you in the right direction. Choosing the wrong SIL provider is a big deal; we’d rather you get it right than choose us by default and be unhappy six months in.
